Love this park! They have the best nature walking trails with amazing views and boardwalk that's perfect for bird watching. You can buy or bring seed and the birds will eat from your hand. I grew up visting the farm center every spring to see the baby farm animals.
My kids love to come here. There are fish and what not inside, along with a giant snapping turtle that lives in the large pond area outside. You will also find yourself surrounded by super friendly and hungry chipmunks that will allow you to hand feed them if you so desire. This place is surrounded by all sorts of wildlife if you choose to visit during the spring or summer time. It truly is a great place to take the kids, relax and just enjoy nature.
One of the best places around. So much to do. Awesome nature trails. Hand feeding the birds is pretty amazing and I highly recommend everyone go try it at least once.
Enjoyed the nature center and the farm center. Took my adult brother who is in an AFC home ! He loved it! His favorite was the pigs! Went to the Farmhouse Grill on site on our way out. Good food ; friendly staff! We will be back.
Disappointing visit today on Xmas day. Have a Xmas tradition of walking on the nature trails the last five years, but today (after a puny little 4 inch snow storm) the gates to all the parking lots we're locked and bathroom at the nature center closed when has been opened on Xmas day before. And someone had drove all the way up the service drive to the nature center! Normally always pleased with the park & management - but not today.
